【摘要】:Thistestmethodprovidesforthequalitativeandquantitativedeterminationofdenatoniumioninenginecoolantinmilligramsperlitertolowpercentrangeandrequiresapproximately100mLpertest,withresultsavailableinlessthan30min.Acceptablelevelsofdenatoniumvarywithmanufacturerx2019;sblendingspecificationsandapplicableminimumormaximumindustryandstatespecifications.Typicallyspecificationrangesfrom30to50ppmdenatoniumion.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthechemicalanalysisofenginecoolantfordenatoniumionbyhigh-performanceliquidchromatography(HPLC).1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletobothnewandusedcoolants.1.3Coelutionofotherionsmaycauseinterferencesinthedetectionofthedenatoniumcation.Inthecaseofunfamiliarformulations,identificationverificationshouldbeperformedbyeitherorbothfortificationanddilutionofthesamplematrixwithdenatoniumion..1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversuraniumoxides,includingprocessedbyproductsorscrapmaterial(powder,pellets,orpieces),thatareintendedfordissolutionintouranylnitratesolutionmeetingtherequirementsofSpecificationC788priortoconversionintonucleargradeUO2powderwitha235Ucontentoflessthan5%.ThisspecificationdefinestheimpurityanduraniumisotopelimitsforsuchuraniapowdersthataretobedissolvedpriortoprocessingtonucleargradeUO2asdefinedinSpecificationC753.1.2Thisspecificationprovidesthenuclearindustrywithageneralstandardforsuchuraniumoxidepowders.Itrecognizesthediversityofconversionprocessesandtheprocessestowhichsuchpowdersaresubsequentlytobesubjected(forinstance,bysolventextraction).Itisthereforeanticipatedthatitmaybenecessarytoincludesupplementaryspecificationlimitsbyagreementbetweenthebuyerandseller.1.3Thescopeofthisspecificationdoesnotcomprehensivelycoverallprovisionsforpreventingcriticalityaccidents,forhealthandsafety,orforshipping.Observanceofthisspecificationdoesnotrelievetheuseroftheobligationtoconformtoallinternational,national,stateandlocalregulationsforprocessing,shipping,oranyotherwayofusinguraniapowders(see2.2and2.3).
