【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulforindicatingtherelativecoke-formingpropensitiesandforevaluatingandcharacterizingtarsandpitches.Thetestmethodcanalsobeusedasoneelementinestablishingtheuniformityofshipmentsorsourcesofsupply.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthecokingvalueoftarandpitchhavinganashcontentnotover0.5%,asdeterminedbyTestMethodD2415.1.2CokingvaluesbythistestmethodarehigherthanthoseobtainedbyTestMethodD2416.SeethebiasstatementinSection13.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
