【摘要】:Thispracticeisfortheuseofmanufacturersandusersofequipmentforvisualappraisalormeasurementofappearance,thosewritingstandardsrelatedtosuchequipment,andotherswhowishtospecifypreciselyconditionsofviewingormeasuringattributesofappearance.Theuseofthispracticemakessuchspecificationsconciseandunambiguous.Thefunctionalnotationfacilitatesdirectcomparisonsofthegeometricspecificationsofviewingsituationsandmeasuringinstruments.1.1Thispracticedescribesthegeometryofilluminatingandviewingspecimensandthecorrespondinggeometryofopticalmeasurementstocharacterizetheappearanceofmaterials.Itestablishesterms,symbols,acoordinatesystem,andfunctionalnotationtodescribethegeometricorientationofaspecimen,thegeometryoftheillumination(oropticalirradiation)ofaspecimen,andthegeometryofcollectionoffluxreflectedortransmittedbythespecimen,byameasurementstandard,orbytheopensamplingaperture.1.2OpticalmeasurementstocharacterizetheappearanceofretroreflectivematerialsareofsuchaspecialnaturethattheyaretreatedinotherASTMstandardsandareexcludedfromthescopeofthispractice.1.3Themeasurementoftransmittedorreflectedlightfromareaslessthan0.5mmindiametermaybeaffectedbyopticalcoherence,someasurementsonsuchsmallareasareexcludedfromconsiderationinthispractice,althoughthebasicconceptsdescribedinthispracticehavebeenadoptedinthatfieldofmeasurement.1.4Thespecificationofamethodofmeasuringthereflectingortransmittingpropertiesofspecimens,forthepurposeofcharacterizingappearance,isincompletewithoutafulldescriptionofthespectralnatureofthesystem,butspectralconditionsarenotwithinthescopeofthispractice.TheuseoffunctionalnotationtospecifyspectralconditionsisdescribedinISO5/1.

【摘要】:Thispracticeisfortheuseofmanufacturersandusersofequipmentforvisualappraisalormeasurementofappearance,thosewritingstandardsrelatedtosuchequipment,andotherswhowishtospecifypreciselyconditionsofviewingormeasuringattributesofappearance.Theuseofthispracticemakessuchspecificationsconciseandunambiguous.Thefunctionalnotationfacilitatesdirectcomparisonsofthegeometricspecificationsofviewingsituationsandmeasuringinstruments.1.1Thispracticedescribesthegeometryofilluminatingandviewingspecimensandthecorrespondinggeometryofopticalmeasurementstocharacterizetheappearanceofmaterials.Itestablishesterms,symbols,acoordinatesystem,andfunctionalnotationtodescribethegeometricorientationofaspecimen,thegeometryoftheillumination(oropticalirradiation)ofaspecimen,andthegeometryofcollectionoffluxreflectedortransmittedbythespecimen,byameasurementstandard,orbytheopensamplingaperture.1.2OpticalmeasurementstocharacterizetheappearanceofretroreflectivematerialsareofsuchaspecialnaturethattheyaretreatedinotherASTMstandardsandareexcludedfromthescopeofthispractice.1.3Themeasurementoftransmittedorreflectedlightfromareaslessthan0.5mmindiametermaybeaffectedbyopticalcoherence,someasurementsonsuchsmallareasareexcludedfromconsiderationinthispractice,althoughthebasicconceptsdescribedinthispracticehavebeenadoptedinthatfieldofmeasurement.1.4Thespecificationofamethodofmeasuringthereflectingortransmittingpropertiesofspecimens,forthepurposeofcharacterizingappearance,isincompletewithoutafulldescriptionofthespectralnatureofthesystem,butspectralconditionsarenotwithinthescopeofthispractice.TheuseoffunctionalnotationtospecifyspectralconditionsisdescribedinISO5/1.
