【摘要】:Thepurposeofthistestmethodistodefineaprocedurefortestingcomponentsbeingconsideredforinstallationintoahigh-puritygasdistributionsystem.Applicationofthistestmethodisexpectedtoyieldcomparabledataamongcomponentstestedforpurposesofqualificationforthisinstallation.1.1Thistestmethodestablishesaprocedureforcomparingtheelementalcompositionofnormalsurfaceswithanydefectsfoundonthesurfacesofmetaltubing,fittings,valves,oranymetalcomponent.1.2Thistestmethodappliestoallsteelsurfacesofcomponentssuchastubing,connectors,regulators,andvalves,regardlessofsize,style,ortype.1.3Limitations:1.3.1Thistestmethodisintendedforusebyscanningelectronmicroscope/energydispersivex-rayspectrometer(SEM/EDX)operatorswithskillleveltypicallyachievedoveratwelve-monthperiod.1.3.2SEMusedforthisstudyshouldconformtothoselimitationsoutlinedinTestMethodF1372andshouldhaveaminimumpoint-to-pointresolutionof30nm.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection6.
