【摘要】:Ingeneral,whereverthepossibilityexistsofwatergettingmixedwithproducts/material(coveredunder1.1)theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodwillindicatethedegreetowhichcorrosionofironcomponentscanbeexpected.Testalsodeterminestheantirustpropertiesofproducts/material(coveredunder1.1)inpreparationforthevariousstagesthroughwhichthetestedproductmaypasspriortoorduringitstransportthroughapipeline.Testresultsarealsomeanttoshowwhetherornotthedosagelevelsandtypeofironcorrosioninhibitoraddedtoaproduct/material(coveredunder1.1)issufficientforachievingthedesiredprotectionofaffectedassetssuchasstoragetanks,processlines,andshipmentsystems.1.1Thistestmethodcoversanacceleratedlaboratoryandfieldprocedureforthedeterminationofcorrosionofiron,inthepresenceofwater,onsamplessuchasgasolineandgasolineblendedwith10%ethanol,E10(SpecificationD4814);gasoline-blendcomponents(exceptbutane);dieselfuelandbiodieselB5,exceptGradeNo.4-D(SpecificationD975);biodieselB6toB20(SpecificationD7467);diesel-blendcomponentsuchaslightcycle-oil;No.1fueloil,No.2fueloil(SpecificationD396);aviationturbinefuel(SpecificationD1655).1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
